It looks like the first five albums are the ones to pick up. To pay off the title of this post, the cost of loving vinyl is that often curiosity and the appeal of cheap, 'audiophile' recordings, encourage follies like this purchase. After reading Robert Wyatt's plug for The Style Council in Mojo's Paul Weller feature this month, I've determined to pick up all those Style Council albums. Previously, I'd focused just on The Jam, but the Style Council records are available for peanuts, so a low risk experiment.
