1 Comments:
What a large variety of goodies.
Al Stewart's "Year of the Cat" made my buy all his regular albums; like good wine, he seems to be getting better with age.
David Bowie - Scary Monsters [German to compare with US] - Quality may depend on whether it was one of the early original pressings or a later mid-price one.
Herbie Mann - The Common Ground [Atlantic mono original] - What is this one like? I like Herbie.
Keely Smith - Swing, You Lovers [Dot] - e n v y
Neil Young - After the Gold Rush [Upgrade vinyl. Awful cover] - "You can't judge a book by the cover." (P.F. Sloan)
Oscar Peterson - Another Day [BASF/MPS Masterdisk GK WLP] - Nice. I like his MPS recordings. Should be really nice sonically, too.
Kevin Coyne - Did you know he spent many years in Nuremberg and was even regarded as a local musician there by some?
Flying Burrito Brothers - Gilded Place of Sin [A&M] - A must-have still missing in my collection.
your shelf space must be limited after that foray - despite the previous pruning
